The China Times x402 integration is live. Every asset in the China Times news archive now carries a NID with provenance records that include creator identity, proof hash, origin type, and license terms, all on-chain. When a purchase happens, x402 settles the transaction directly against that provenance record and mints a license NFT tied to the NID. Numbers Protocol and ChainAware announced a partnership this week, bringing together on-chain identity and content provenance under a shared trust stack. ChainAware contributes wallet reputation and identity verification; Numbers Protocol contributes media authenticity and provenance. Together, the integration answers both sides of the trust question: who sent this, and is this real.
