Dear NUMBERS,

Over the past five years, Numbers has grown and learned alongside a rapidly changing crypto landscape. When we first entered the market, regulations around digital assets were still emerging, and many players in the industry were experimenting without clear rules. Since then, we have experienced market cycles, witnessed the rise and fall of projects, and seen how fragile trust can be when transparency is missing. Today, the environment looks very different. Authorities across regions are paying closer attention, standards are being raised, and expectations for transparency, security, and compliance have become much higher. We see this shift not as a burden, but as a necessary step for the long-term health of the ecosystem.

As the project behind the NUM token, we believe it is our responsibility to build a sustainable and trustworthy environment for our community, partners, and token holders. A key part of that effort is choosing the right exchanges to work with. Exchange listings are not only about liquidity and visibility; they are also a reflection of our values. The platforms that carry NUM should share our commitment to integrity, user protection, and regulatory alignment. This means we are willing to be patient, to grow step by step, and to prioritise quality of partnerships over simply increasing the number of listings. Going forward, our focus will be on the quality of exchange partnerships rather than simply expanding the number of listings. We’ll favor exchanges that operate with transparency in their processes and communications, and that demonstrate strong security and responsible market operations. We believe this creates a better experience for users and a healthier market for NUM.

Regulation is another key point. While frameworks differ from country to country, the direction is clear: compliance matters. We will prioritise exchanges that actively engage with regulators, follow applicable laws, and implement strong know-your-customer (KYC) and anti-money-laundering (AML) measures. Working with such platforms may sometimes mean slower processes or stricter requirements, but we believe this is a worthwhile trade-off if it leads to a more stable and respected ecosystem for NUM and for our community as a whole. Numbers is entering a new chapter. After more than five years in the market, we are more focused than ever on building a healthy, transparent, and regulation-aligned environment for NUM. By setting clear expectations for our exchange partners, we hope to protect our community, support long-term growth, and contribute to a more mature and responsible crypto industry that can serve users for many years to come.

Best regards,
Founder of Numbers Protocol,
