2025/8/29 Weekly Summary Letter

Hey NUMBERS,
August has been all about shipping and listening. We launched ProofSnap for both Android and iOS, took it straight into the wild at Coinfest Asia, and folded your feedback into a fast 1.6.0 update. Thanks for the downloads, comments, participations to the campaigns and energy—you’re shaping the roadmap with us.
On the ground in Bali, we “proofed” Coinfest Asia 2025 by capturing real moments with verifiable links and encouraging attendees to share Capture URLs instead of photos with no proof. The festival ran August 21–22 at Nuanu Creative City and drew 10,000+ participants, giving us strong field feedback on ProofSnap’s UX and sharing flow. One suggestion we had received is the expectation of a browser plugin to preserve the screenshot. Do you think if this is going to be helpful? Share with me!
Business-wise, Coinfest conversations opened new pilots with creators and media teams who need provenance‑ready workflows. If you met us in Bali and want to co‑test ProofSnap across your newsroom, event ops, or brand content, let our moderators know. Provenance is now a requirement, not a nice‑to‑have—proof of origin becomes proof of values.
NUM remains the culture currency behind these captures. E
very ProofSnap asset anchors to on‑chain commit logs and a persistent Nid, so the record of creation travels with the file across platforms and chains.
We’re going to release the new NUM/Capture whitepaper very soon. In this whitepaper, we will talk about Pay with Provenance — Receipts for the AI Economy
.
It lays out how Capture becomes a pay‑and‑prove rail for both humans and AI agents—combining USDC/x402 pay‑per‑use,
C2PA content credentials baked into files, and on‑chain receipts (EIP‑7053) on Numbers Mainnet—with NUM playing the key role for network governance.
Please share your thoughts in the upcoming community review and we will build the AI future together!
As usual at weekends, the team will respond a little more slowly while taking some rest. Our moderators will keep supporting you, and the team will be well prepared for the new week.
Best regards, Tammy
