Dear NUMBERS,

June is the month to confirm that the world is moving towards a new order of "trusted content", and Numbers is at the centre of it. Here are this month’s highlights:

ProofSnap Beta is now live on the Android Play Store, featuring "Snap once, prove forever". Whereas Capture turns fresh photos, videos, or AI-generated works into verifiable Capture assets, giving creators a cryptographically backed way to protect and monetise their originality - ProofSnap repackages the same provenance engine for high-stakes legal and insurance scenarios, with the goal of producing photo evidence whose integrity can stand up in court. Leveraging the core technologies of Numbers Protocol, ProofSnap embeds both C2PA and ERC-7053 dual credentials the moment the shutter is pressed, and these credentials have already been verified by platforms such as LinkedIn. We believe this will be essential in an AI-driven future to ensure ground truths remain trustworthy.

On the business side, we have submitted a bid for an "Intelligent Government Forms + AI Regulatory Assistan"’ project to the Taiwan government. This project not only uses the Numbers verification API to ensure the authenticity and traceability of official documents, but also empowers AI to answer questions based on "real facts". In addition, Sofia is in discussions with one of the largest mobile companies about using AI with trusted content streams and potentially integrating this into enterprise-level AI solutions.

Turning to industry news: are you a Google Veo 3 user? I am. Unfortunately, it has sparked a deepfake video storm. A TIME investigation revealed that Veo 3 can generate highly realistic videos of riots and fraud. Although Google belatedly added watermarks, this does little to stop the content being edited and re-uploaded. This again shows that "signing at the point of generation" is key to curbing misinformation. As AI evolves ever faster, our need for authenticity in daily life only grows stronger.

Besides,California has just made significant progress on SB11, the AI Abuse Protection Act: the bill has been moved out of committee and has received its second reading on the Assembly floor. If enacted, it would place computer-manipulated or AI-generated images and videos under the state’s right-of-publicity law and its criminal false-impersonation statutes. AB 53, the California AI Transparency Act was also passed. This bill requires large platforms to label AI-generated content and mandates that device manufacturers provide digital-signature options. These legislative trend aligns perfectly with our brand messages and ProofSnap’s "origin signature" capability, positioning us to help companies and organizations quickly meet these new compliance requirements.

Looking ahead to July, we will keep making Numbers Protocol stronger and release ProofSnap for iOS so that even more users can access it. Thank you for being on this journey with us. Let’s continue to bring authenticity to the wider world of AI.

As usual at weekends, the team will respond a little more slowly while taking some rest. Our moderators will keep supporting you, and the team will be well prepared for the new week.

Best regards, Tammy
