Dear NUMBERS,
Happy Friday! Tammy here, glad to share another action-packed month at Numbers Protocol. With autumn approaching, we’re embracing this season of change and growth. Your continued support keeps us moving forward, and this month was no exception.
First, you may have noticed some exciting updates to the Capture Dashboard in the last couple weeks, including the newly designed Capture page that now displays copyright information and allows the purchase of Capture NFTs with just one click. Plus, users can now register assets and mint NFTs all in one go, making it easier than ever to get your digital content onto the blockchain. A new article about the Capture page was released today—take a look and let us know your thoughts on the new features and the potential impact on the creative community!
You may also notice that the free credits for new users have been reduced from 12 to 2. This change is essential for making the Capture system more sustainable, while also encouraging users to purchase and use $NUM. The change only affects newly registered users, so don’t worry—your existing credits remain untouched. I hope all users, both new and existing, continue to enjoy using Capture!
It’s also been a great month for community and partnerships. During Token2049, we connected with several promising projects and individuals, and we’re looking forward to exploring these opportunities further. In addition to Token2049, our team members participated in cybersecurity events in New York City and Boston Blockchain Week. If you are based in Seoul or Busan, South Korea, let us know—we’re hosting activities there too!
Another significant milestone we achieved in September was the successful launch of our collaboration with the Shezidao Wetlands project. This marks a key moment as all the historic images of Taipei City are now preserved on the Numbers Blockchain. With Capture Eye integrated, this project reflects our commitment to preserving authenticity and transparency. And don’t forget, we’re rolling out our first-ever product newsletter, which will offer a deeper look into our product developments and how we’re driving innovation in digital media. If you didn't receive the letter, ensure you have registered a Capture account!
As we prepare for the next DAO event, we’ve gathered valuable community feedback on our plans for the Numbers Open Call 2024. The results can be viewed here, and we’ll be sharing more details on DAO topics soon.
In more good news, $NUM is now listed on Mobee! This partnership aims to increase our visibility in Southeast Asia, and we’ve launched a special staking pool for users there. Lastly, we’re feeling the growing excitement from our community, and to celebrate, we’re launching a meme campaign on SoQuest that’s open to everyone! A big part of the crypto world is about enjoying the journey, so share your best memes and earn some $NUM.
There are also activities happening behind the scenes to leverage the power of AI. We are currently training the AI to learn from our Gitbook and product blogs. We expect that the new AI assistant will play a significant and engaging role in the community, supporting user questions without a delay. This can be an important step for us in user acquisition, and I hope we will see this AI assistant coming soon in October!
Same as every weekend, the team will take some rest with a slower response. Our dear moderators will keep supporting you, and the team will be well-prepared for the new week.
Best & Have a nice weekend,
Tammy
