Dear NUMBERS,
Happy spring, everyone! As usual, Sofia here to provide our first weekly summary of April. With the warmer weather and blooming flowers, we're excited to share our progress this week and start Q2 of 2023.
Product-wise, there have been several exciting updates. First, the Mainnet Explorer has been updated to allow users to open the Asset Profile by clicking the Nid. This is a significant development as it highlights Numbers Mainnet's position as the chain of creativity. Second, the Asset Profile has also been updated to enable users to open commits with just one click. This means that users can now easily navigate between the Mainnet Explorer and Asset Profile to access provenance data on the blockchain. Finally, we are pleased to announce that Avalanche has become the official partner of the Numbers network and launched eight validators! This partnership will significantly enhance the stability and security of the Numbers network, and we remain committed to improving and strengthening the Numbers Protocol in the coming weeks and months.
Growthwise, we've had productive discussions with content platforms, Music Battles and CXC.today, and the Museum of Crypto Art. Additionally, we participated in the Berlin Landing Pad program, connecting with potential partners and stakeholders throughout Europe. Our presence at SXSW generated momentum, with the Capture app catching the attention of a Grammy-winning songwriter. We've forged connections with renowned IP companies interested in adopting the Numbers Protocol to protect their rights.
For NUM and the community, we've launched a flash staking program on our Mainnet with a 100%+ APY to celebrate the complete migration into Numbers Mainnet. We're also excited to welcome a new community writer to our team and invite everyone to read and share their recent articles on "The Rise of NFTs in Photography" on our Medium Publication.
As mentioned at the beginning of Q1, our goal for this year was to become the top go-to resource for creators and content platforms seeking Web3 technology. To achieve this, we optimized our products, increased global event exposure, and collaborated with creators from various fields in the past quarter. Following our participation in SXSW in Austin (as Tammy shared last week), we realized that our yearly goal could be even more ambitious, as the rise of Generative AI is likely to bring more issues related to provenance in the future. To adapt to this trend and cater to a broader audience on the internet, the new goal of Numbers Protocol is βto establish itself as the top go-to resource for creators and content platforms seeking to assure the provenance of their creations.β
You may have noticed that we've updated the introduction and mission statement on all of our social platforms to reflect this new goal: βNumbers Protocol is an open and decentralized network designed to ensure provenance for all types of creative works created by humans & AI.β You all know that we can not go this far without the communityβs support; as community members, we hope you can join us in spreading the word about Numbers Protocol and our mission to ensure provenance for all types of creative works created by humans & AI ;)!
We are working diligently to address the challenges arising from the rise of GAI, recognizing the critical importance of digital trust and the traceability and transparency of each asset. Our Q2 roadmap includes exciting opportunities to expand our partnerships and advance our mission. Stay tuned!
Same as every weekend, the team will take some rest with a slower response. Our dear moderators will keep supporting you, and the team will be well-prepared for the new week. And may all of you have a great weekend!
Take care and stay awesome,
Sofia Co-founder of Numbers Protocol
